Joan Jett and The Blackhearts es una banda de Hard rock formada en los años 1980, en donde entonces eran muy populares en el Glam.
La banda fue creada a comienzo de la década de 1980, la banda estaba integrada por Joan Jett, Ricky Byrd, John Doe, Gary Ryan y Eric Ambel(quien fue reemplazado por Byrd). Con Byrd en la guitarra, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts grabaron su exitoso álbum "I Love Rock N' Roll", que es la original versión del grupo The Arrows
