Louise Erdrich

Louise Erdrich (Little Falls, Minnesota, 1954) escritora estadounidense de origen chippewa y alemán, miembro de la Turtle Band of Chippewa.

Se crio en Wahpeton (Dakota del Norte) donde sus padres eran maestros de escuelas. Sus obras están ambientadas en la vida de los chippewa de Minnesota y Wisconsin. Casada desde 1981 con el también escritor amerindio Michael Dorris, hasta que él se suicidó en 1997.
