KC and the Sunshine Band es una banda estadounidense formada en 1973 en Miami, que se especializó en la música disco, Funk, R&B, Pop-Rock y Dance. La banda fue formada por Richard Finch y el vocalista y líder Harry Wayne Casey, el propio Harry transformó su apellido "Casey" en : "K C". Entre sus canciones más conocidas destacan "That's the way (I like it)", "Shake your booty", "Get Down Tonight","I'm Your Boogie Man", "Please Don't Go" y "Give It Up"
Fue furor en su presencia en el Festival de la Canción de Viña del Mar 1981, por sus melodías bailables de la época. Este verano 2009 se presentaròn en este mismo escenario, uno de los conocidos en Latinoamérica donde hicieron furor con su presentación.
