Glass Tiger es una banda canadiense formada en 1984 que triunfó en los años 80s y 90s. Originarios de Ontario, ha sido una de las bandas más perdurables de Canadá por casi tres décadas.

Historia [editar]
En 1984, firmaron un contrato con Capitol y su álbum debut "The Thin Red Line", salió al mercado en 1986. Su primer gran éxito fue "Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)" y llegó a ser #2 en las listas de [[Billboard]. De ese mismo álbum también salió "Someday" y llegó ha ser #7 en las listas de Billboard. Ganó tres Premios Juno en 1986: Por el álbum del año por The Thin Red Line, Por sencillo del año por Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone), Por el nuevo grupo del año y ganó uno en 1987: Por el sencillo del año por Someday, ganó otro Por el artista del año en 1989 y fue nominado en 1989 Por el álbum del año por Diamond Sun, Por el grupo del año en 1989 y en 1992. En 1987 Glass Tiger fue nominada al Premio Grammy por mejor artista nuevo. Su segundo álbum salió al mercado en 1988 y se título, "Diamond Sun" y posteriormente "Simple Mission" en 1991. En el 2005, Glass Tiger cumplió 20 años de hacer música y para celebrarlo Emi Music, lanzó un DVD que contenía todos los éxitos de la banda de los años 80s y 90s, junto a dos nuevos vídeos hechos especialmente para este proyecto. En el 2010, Glass Tiger sigue haciendo presentaciones en fechas específicas,cuando todos los miembros de la banda están disponibles. Esto hace que cada actuación sea única, teniendo muy buena aceptación por parte del público que sigue fiel a su música.
