Practicamente necesita ser re-escrito. Empezar describiendo un álgebra de boole como un reticulado (orden) distributivo y complementado, álgebras de boole isomorfas, atómicas, etc. Moriel 03:50 20 may, 2004 (CEST)

The section Álgebra de Boole#Como anillo is completely wrong, but my Spanish is not good enough to correct it. The inverses are not inverses in the usual sense of the word, because they give rise to the wrong neutral element. For the same reason, the two "abelian groups" are not groups but only commutative monoids (see monoide).
There is also a notion of Boolean ring ("anillo Booleano"?). It is almost the same as a Boolean algebra, but it uses different operations. See en:Boolean ring. --Hans Adler 19:43 27 ene 2008 (UTC)
