David Yost
David Harold Yost (7 de enero de 1969 en Iowa) es un actor estadounidense conocido sobre todo por su papel en la serie Power Rangers.
En su niñez David viajaba con sus padres y su hermana mayor alrededor del país. Después de terminar la secundaria, David realizó sus estudios en la universidad de comunicaciones de Iowa y la ciencia de teatro.
En 1993 ingresó en la serie Power Rangers, su personaje era Billy Cranston y el era el primer Ranger Azul de la historia. Después de estar en las 3 temporadas de Power Rangers y después en Power Rangers Zeo, David se retiró de la actuación.
En la actualidad ejerce como productor de series (Alien Hunter) y programas televisivos (La isla de la tentación). En agosto de 2010 ha declarado ser homosexual.
Extraoficialmente se ha dado a conocer que su salida de la serie Power Rangers se sucedió cuando el resto del elenco y otros involucrados en la serie se enteraron sobre su orientación sexual, lo que le acarreó conflictos, discriminación y situaciones de intolerancia con sus colegas del programa; por ello renunció a la serie, explicando la salida de su personaje en la historia con un viaje al planeta de los Alien Rangers, donde pondría sus conocimientos al servicio de la raza.
En Power Ranger Dinotrueno, episodio "Legado de poder", se hace a su personaje Billy una mención como el ranger azul.
