Canto fúnebre

Un canto fúnebre es una canción sombría expresando luto o duelo, como sería conveniente para un funeral. La palabra "canto fúnebre" deriva del Latin Dirige, Domine, Deus meus, in conspectu tuo viam meam ("Dirige mi camino delante de tus ojos, Señor, Dios Mío"), las primeras palabras de la primera antífona de "Office for the Dead".
