El Cabeus es un cráter de impacto ubicado a 100 km del polo sur de la Luna.[1] Recibe su nombre en homenaje al filósofo italiano del siglo XVII Niccolo Cabeo.
Este cráter fue elegido por la NASA para recibir el impacto de la sonda LCROSS, en octubre de 2009.[2]
