Bernard Lietaer (Lauwe, Bélgica, 1942) es un ingeniero civil, economista y escritor belga. Estudioso del sistema monetario, promueve la idea de que las comunidades pueden beneficiarse creando su moneda local o complementaria, circulando paralela a la moneda nacional.
