Alison Steadman (26 de agosto de 1946) es una actriz inglesa de teatro, cine y televisión.

Vida artística[editar]

Egresada de la East 15 Acting School. Ha recibido diversos reconocimientos en el ámbito teatral, entre ellos el Premio Laurence Olivier en la categoría mejor actriz por su rol de Mari en la obra The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice estrenada en el Royal National Theatre de Londres en el año 1992;^[1] así como otra nominación al mismo galardón y a la misma categoría por The Memory of Water en 2000.^[2]

En televisión, fue nominada a un Premio BAFTA TV a la mejor actriz en 1986 por la película The Singing Detective^[3] y en 2001 por el drama Fat Friends.^[4]
